Danielle M. Nelson, M.S.

I am an ecologist by training interested in landscape-level ecology, limnology, nutrient cycling, and the impacts of legacy contaminants on our environment. I also love learning about the various processes impacting our landscapes and the human impact on watersheds and our freshwater resources. Growing up in the Midwest, I gained a deep respect and love for the Great Lakes and look forward to a long and fulfilling career studying, preserving, and restoring the natural habitats and resources of the region. 

 

I also love to travel and enjoy hiking in the vastly different and beautiful environments the world has to offer and take every chance to explore somewhere new!
